The Campground
25 campsites are thoughtfully positioned to maximize privacy and take advantage of a breathtaking white sand beach. We have implemented the kitchen with all campsite fees, the kitchen is a communal kitchen including BBQs. There are also, two stone fire pits located at the campsiteand one communal gazebo for guests to sit around and swap tales and sing songs.
We have 25 campsites, with 17 available for you to bring your own gear.
We have a snack shop, however we don't have a restaurant.
All campers have permission to bring their own firewood (we sell firewood for $10/bundle).
Dogs are welcome! $7 pet fee (only one dog per campsite).
Hosted Camping (Shooting Stars)
- Included with hosted tenting for guests: Sleeping bag, air mattress and tent (up to a max 6 people)
- $75 per night based on double occupancy, additional guests are $10 each (tax not included)
Camping (Stargazing)
- $55 per night based on double occupancy, additional guests are $10 each (tax not included)
The Hostel
If sleeping under the stars isn’t for you, there is a hostel with 30 beds. The hostel includes separate men’s and women’s dorms, as well as private rooms with twin, double, or bunk beds that can sleep up to 4 or 5 people. The hostel features a large kitchen and living area to encourage our guests to gather to break bread while staying warm and dry. The hostel provides sheets and pillows so you need only bring your own sleeping bags or blankets. Locker spaces are included in your nightly fee.
There is a large bathhouse that features hot showers and flush toilets. The cost for the use of these amenities is included in your total lodging fee, whether that is camping or staying in the hostel.
We understand in this day and age that being able to connect to friends, family and/or work is a necessity so we offer complimentary Wi-Fi and a computer room for guests to use. Also for your convenience, there is an on-site general store featuring camping supplies and confectionary items.

Water Transportation to Lone Cone Trail or Mears Island
Water transportation from Tofino to Meares Island is included in your stay. One return trip to Tofino included per three day stay (3 day stay = 1 return trip, 6 day stay = 2 return trips). Additional round trips to Tofino for guests: $15/person. Lone Cone Trail fee is included with your stay.
Regular water transportation fares:
$30 round trip per person + $10 trail fee per person
$10 round trip for children under 13 + $5 trail fee per child
* Price includes water transportation return trip and one additional return trip per day while staying on site.
